homemade burger buns 自制汉堡面包

My hubby request for burger, so I use this recipe to make 6 medium size burger buns instead store bought buns with 10 pieces in the pack which we will not finish in time. The buns were soft even I stored the buns in a sealer bag for 3 days!

Great recipe from Richard Bertinet, but I divided it to a smaller portion for my needs. Also make some changes, like adding sugar and oil into the recipe.

At beginning, the dough was very wet and a bit difficult to knead but slowly it will become more smooth and not sticky (if kneading by hand like me). Or you may use a mixer to done the job. I also attached a video which show how's my burger buns are ready fermented to bake in the oven.

Fermented buns and is ready to go into oven.

My burger buns looks puffy in the oven.

Beautiful burger buns fresh from the oven.

A picture which I forgot to spread some ketchup and below is the one with a perfect look with ketchup in it.

Fermentation test on buns if buns is ready to go into oven. The bun will not collapse when you press on it.
