steamed giant bao/buns 大肉包
I seldom buy giant bao in my life, the main reason was I don't have a big stomach for it. My choice was always choose for char siew bao or vegetables baos. This is just my first attempt to make this giant bao, really hope that it will be success.

Today is rainy day, I make some pot sticker for our lunch to warm up our stomach. The filling is pork and cabbage, with anchovies - "ikan bilis" broth as soup.

white radish meat balls 白萝卜小丸子
I never knew that white radish can be make into delicious and crispy white radish meat balls, thanks to the internet. I visited a chinese webpage, forgot which one, but I try out the combination of white radish, meat & others ingredients and created this yummy fried meat balls.
I make this thai style sweet & sour chili sauce for the dipping! The combination was so match and tasty! I think this dish can be our favourites house dish in the future. Simple ingredients, just combine all ingredients and fry!

Love to eat barbecue pork aka Bak Kwa or Long Yok, don't know why, chinese always buy Bak Kwa during CNY as their CNY treats. I very seldom buy during normal days but definitely will buy a pack or two on before Chinese New Year.

eggplant with juicy minced pork 魚香茄子
Tasty dish, we all love eggplant, including my son. He start eating eggplant since 2-3 years old. Every time I cook this dish, he really can finish his bowl of rice. I think he just like mommy, we like the taste of eggplant, with a mild sweet after cook and its texture is so soft and tender.

steamed yam with pork belly 芋头扣肉
This is one of my mom best recipe! Very easy to make with little ingredients. I was lazy to fried the pork belly so I use Roasted Pork Belly instead. Even more delicious if you keep the dish over night.

braised yee mee 焖伊面
This is also one of our favourites noodles recipe. Yee Mee actually is the fried Wan Ton Mee or egg noodle, a noodles supplier who told me that long time ago. Very simple dish to cook and very yummy.

mustard greens sautéed with chinese sausage 腊肠炒芥菜
I still have a small mustard green in my fridge, I have no idea how to use it in my cooking. Suddenly in my mind, I want to try to cook it with some chinese sausage and it taste not bad at all.
