Peanut butter buns for this bake. Soft little buns for our breakfast and tea time. Some was garnish with black sesame seeds and make one sugar buns for my little one.
300g high protein flour
40g fine sugar
1/3 tsp fine salt
1-1/2 tsp instant dry yeast
170g water
1 tbsp butter
- combine all ingredients except butter to form a dough
- knead dough by hand, like washing cloths motion by stretching the dough on the working surface until smooth, about 20-25 minutes
- rub butter into the dough, start kneading again until smooth surface form again
- form to a ball, cover & let dough fermented for 1 hour or double in size
- after 1 hour, lightly dust the working surface with flour, remove dough & press air out from the dough
- divide dough into 9 portion, shape & wrap fillings to form a ball, proof for 1 hour or until double in size
- apply egg wash on top of each buns before baking
- preheat oven at 190C, bake for 12-15 minutes until brown
- remove buns from oven & baking pan immediately, let cool on cooling rack
