crunchy cucumber 拍爽碎黄瓜




Crunchy cucumber as its named. Crunchy and a bit sour, best combination if you have a lot of meaty or oily dish on your dinning table.


Ingredients: (2 pax)
1 cucumber
1 tsp of salt
2 cloves garlic (crushed and finely chopped)
1 chilli (finely chopped)
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp cooking oil
pinch of salt
pinch of sugar


  1. quarterly cut cucumber, crush cucumber with the back of your knife. (put all cucumber in a plastic bag to do the job, best tips to prevent cucumber pieces flying out and mess the place and you. : )
  2. add 1 tsp of salt into your bag and mix around. Let sit for a minute.
  3. wash cucumber and drain. Place on a serving plate.
  4. heat cooking oil in a sauce pan, add garlic, chili, vinegar, light soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and sugar. Off heat and mix to combine.
  5. pour sauce mixture onto cucumber. 
  6. serve.
