caramelized onion chicken 焦糖洋葱鸡

I love onions but not the raw onions. Love it especially when the onion is caramelize.
It sweets and tasty. Very suitable to cook with meat. My son love it too! He like the gravy and the soft chicken breast.

I specially cook this to my boy, you know, cooking to kids and they if  like to eat it,  is very very difficult. But as a mother, I like to try and cook anything to make him eat healthier and happier.

Ingredients: (2-3 pax)
1 chicken breast (cut to cubes/strips)
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp light soy sauce

1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp ginger juice
1/2 tbsp rice wine
2 tbsp water
some white pepper powder
some cooking oil

  1. marinate chicken with cornflour and light soy sauce.
  2. heat pan with cooking oil, add onion and sautee.
  3. add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, salt, ginger juice, rice wine, water and some white pepper powder, stir well and saute until soft.
  4. add chicken, cook for another 3 minutes in high heat or until chicken is cooked.
  5. serve!
