This is a very tasty chicken recipe which my son love it so much. Easy and quick to cook and delicious. The skin of the chicken was crispy and the gravy was sweet with the onions. Best cook with chicken drumstick instead of chicken breast.
ingredients: (serve 2-3 pax)
2-3 deborne chicken drumstick
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 cloves garlic, cut to thin pieces
1 onion, cut to strips
3 tbsp white wine
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 tsp sugar
2 tbsp ginger wine or white wine
pepper & salt
- season deborn chicken with some salt & pepper, then coat with some all purpose flour on both sides of chicken.
- combine white wine & soy sauce in a small bowl & add 4 tsp of sugar, set aside
- heat pan with some oil, pan fry chicken, skin down first until brown & crispy on both sides.
- dish out chicken, cut into small pieces on a plate
- add in onion to sautee until light brown then add back chicken in the pan, skin up
- pour ginger wine in & let simmer for few second
- then add in wine mixture, let it simmer until sauce become thick
- Coat chicken with the sauce
- serve with rice!
