the REAL banana bread 真正的香蕉面包


Use banana to make bread loaf. Should be very interesting! I just try it out, overall not bad, have banana fragrance with the bread, simply spread with butter will be nice to taste.



ingredients:

250g bread flour

35g sugar
80g mashed banana (about 1 medium size banana)
160g milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tbsp butter
  1. combine all except butter to form dough
  2. knead by hand at least 20 mins until the dough become smooth
  3. add butter into dough, continue kneading the dough become smooth again
  4. cover & proof for 60 mins or double in size
  5. shape dough to loaf, cover & fermented for another 60 mins or double
  6. preheat oven at 190C  bake for 25-30 minutes
