my little wild strawberries 我的野草莓

Love this wild strawberries at first sight, it was given by my aunt. She asked us if we want to try her own grown strawberries at her backyard. I was wonder how strawberry could survive in a hot weather as she was not staying in high hills like Cameron Highlands.

Then she point out an red round fruit on the ground! Wow! It was really a strawberry like fruit, even the leaves is almost the same! We quickly search around and found few more berries. Wash it and direct put in the mouth, a bit disappointed, there was no taste, not sweet or not sour at all, a bit spongy not like the real strawberry. But definitely is very very beautiful plant. So we asked her for some plant and try to plant in our garden.

One two months later, it grow yellow flower and soon it grow to berries, just like the picture below. We can now harvest few berries in every 1 or 2 weeks time.
