Kids love fritters, so I decide to cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets to make this fritters. A good way to let your kids to eat vegetables. Also you can taste the original sweetness from the vegetables.
ingredients:
1 small broccoli
1 small cauliflower
1/2 carrot
3 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp oil
- wash & drain broccoli & cauliflower, cut into small florets
- cut carrot into strips
- in a big bowl, combine flour & salt, slowly add in water & whisk into a smooth batter
- add in oil, whisk to combine
- add cut vegetables, coat all vegetables with the flour batter
- heat 2-3 cups of oil in a pan or wok, spoon a scoop of the mixture into the oil to fry until golden brown
- drain the fritter & serve!
