Ingredients:
2 selar fish (yellow tail )
1-2 leaves mustard green pickles, sliced
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fermented soy bean
1 tsp light soy sauce
1-2 tsp sugar
Some water
1/2 tsp tapioca flour
- Rub some salt to the fish
- Heat wok with oil in high heat, fry fish until both sides become brown and crispy, dish out on a plate
- Remain 1 tbsp oil and saute the garlic
- Add in fermented soy bean, keep sauté until fragrant
- Add in sliced mustard greens pickles & sugar, keep stir fry for 2 minutes
- Add some water to let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes
- Lastly, add tapioca flour into some water for the gravy. Add slowly until it reach the gravy thickness
- Add in the fried fish to cook for another minute to let the fish absorb the gravy or pour all the gravy to the fish
- Serve with rice
