mustard greens pickles soup 咸菜汤


 Another dish to use on my homemade mustard greens pickles. Well it taste good, with the mild sourness, it open our appetite. Too bad I don't have tofu, it will be more delicious if tofu is added into this soup. But still this is a delicious soup.



ingredients: (serve 3 pax)
2-3 leaves mustard green pickles, cut to 1 inch length
1-2 tomatoes, cut to cubes
1 plum pickles
1 inch of ginger, sliced
some pork slices, add some light soy sauce & tapioca flour, mix well
1/2 tsp sugar
Pinch of white pepper
1 litre water

  1. add mustard green pickles, tomatoes, plum pickles, ginger & water into a bowl & bring it to boil
  2. let simmer in low heat for about 30 minutes, until mustard green pickles is soft
  3. add sugar & white pepper powder to taste
  4. add marinated pork slice, high heat, bring to a "big" boil for 1 minutes
  5. off heat, serve
