chinese herbal soup - dark chicken with herbal 乌鸡药材汤




Simple soup and good for health. Dark chicken also known as silkie is very common use in making herbal soup. It is rich in protein & melanin pigment.



American ginseng is believe to revitalises energy and strength, relieves mental stress, enhances alertness and physical performance.


ingredients: (serve 2 pax)
1 whole dark chicken (cute to 8 pcs)
some American Ginseng (Pao Shen)
salt
2 liters water

  1. high heat, put all ingredients except salt into a claypot until boil
  2. turn to low heat, let simmer for 2 hours
  3. add salt to taste before serve
