homemade thai sweet chili sauce 自制泰式甜辣酱


I love this Thai sweet chili sauce for fried oyster mushroom. Super easy!
ingredients:

3 fresh red chilies
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp potato starch + 2 tbsp water
1/2 cup water

  1. chop chilies & garlic into mince but not mash
  2. bring to boil water in a bowl
  3. add in chilies & garlic, sugar & potato starch water
  4. bring to boil, check for the sweet & sour taste that you like by add or less sugar & vinegar
  5. pour in a jar & keep in a fridge to preserve the freshness.
