fried grey oyster mushroom 炸灰色蚝蘑



Delicious snack or a simple dish for lunch or dinner... fried grey oyster mushroom! Crunchy when you bite on it and best with the homemade Thai sweet chili sauce.



What you need:-
200g grey oyster mushroom
2/3 cup of all purpose flour
2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp fine salt
1 tbsp oil
about 2/3 cup water


  

  1. clean the mushroom with a kitchen towel
  2. to prepare the flour batter, combine & mix flour, cornflour, salt, baking powder in a bowl
  3. add water slowly into the flour mixture, stir until smooth & batter can flow smoothly from your fingers , not too thick
  4. add 1 tbsp oil into the batter, mix well to combine
  5. heat 2 cups oil with a frying pan in medium heat
  6. dip mushrooms into the batter, coat evenly
  7. try drop some batter into the oil to test if batter float up fast to the top it is mean that the oil is ready to fry
  8. fry mushroom until golden brown, drain & serve
