Find my cereal sitting in the container for some time and started to become soft and not crunchy. Throw away? Nope! That's too wasting! I found a way to make it tasty and make you eat it non-stop.
Simple ingredients -
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
- heat a deep pan, pour in sugar, salt & butter
- wait till it melt & turning brown, stir a bit to combine
- add in baking soda, it will immediate turn into small bubble stage, stir well
- remove from heat, immediate add in cereal
- stir to make sure all cereal is coated with caramel
- transfer coated cereal to a baking pan or sheets
- let cool before storage in a air tight container
