DIY caramel coated cereal 焦糖谷物


Find my cereal sitting in the container for some time and started to become soft and not crunchy. Throw away? Nope! That's too wasting! I found a way to make it tasty and make you eat it non-stop.
Simple ingredients -

1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
  1. heat a deep pan, pour in sugar, salt & butter
  2. wait till it melt & turning brown, stir a bit to combine
  3. add in baking soda, it will immediate turn into small bubble stage, stir well
  4. remove from heat, immediate add in cereal
  5. stir to make sure all cereal is coated with caramel
  6. transfer coated cereal to a baking pan or sheets
  7. let cool before storage in a air tight container
