white radish pork bone soup 白萝卜猪骨汤


My husband is a soup lover. He can drink a big bowl of soup (only if I cook his favorites soup). This is one of his favorites soup, white radish pork bone soup. Now the whole family like drink soup because of his influence.


White radish soup is commonly among in chinese cruisine. White radish is rich in fibre and vitamin C. The soup has a mild sweet because of the pork bone, the white radish has absorbed the soup and very juicy.

ingredients: (3-4 pax)
500g pork bone (preferred lower spine part)
1 big white radish
3 litre water
salt & pepper to taste

  1. wash & clean pork bone
  2. fill up soup pot with 3 litres of water, add pork bone. Bring to boil on high heat
  3. turn flame to low heat & let the soup to simmer for about 1 hour
  4. add white radish into the soup after an hour
  5. keep simmer for another hour
  6. add salt & pepper to taste 15 minutes before off the heat
  7. serve!
