crunchy homemade fried chicken - make from scratch 炸鸡

Husband & son demand to have fried chicken for dinner tonight. So I use milk to brine my chicken this time for this recipe. Taste good and very very crunchy! Very suitable for those who like crunchy skin fried chicken.

ingredients:- (serve 2-3 pax)
5 pieces of chicken (drumstick, chicken thigh)
⅓ cup milk - for brine chicken
1 tsp salt

1 ⅓ cups APF (all purpose flour)

1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
3 cups of veg. oil for frying

use milk  & salt to brine chicken - at least half an hour

mix all dry ingredients, set a side

heat oil and get ready for frying. Take a piece of chicken from brining liquid, coat with flour mixture. repeat as the rest of chicken.

then put coated chicken into brining liquid for second coat again, piece by piece.

turn heat to medium low heat, put coated chicken to fry until light brown colour around 15 minutes. for second fry, turn high heat, counting of 20 seconds, put chicken for second fry.

serve!
