ham and egg rice 火腿蛋饭



Most simplest dish that I ever cook, yet very delicious!


Ingredients: (serve 2 pax)
2 cups cooked rice
4 pcs picnic ham
2 large eggs
some fresh cucumber for garnish
1 tsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
some pepper
some cooking oil

  1. cook rice and set aside.
  1. heat pan with low heat, add cooking oil, add in dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper and sugar. Stir well and off the heat when sugar is dissolve.
  1. pan fry ham and fried eggs.
  1. place ham and eggs onto cooked rice, garnish with cut cucumber.
  1. pour 1 tbsp of black sauce onto ham and eggs.
  1. serve while warm!


Just 3 ingredients, can make it for a delicious lunch or dinner. The spirit to make this delicious dish is the right black soy sauce.
