home made aloha chicken pizza 菠萝鸡肉比萨




Pizza for 2? This is our dinner, pizza with chicken meat, pineapple & onion.
A simple pizza dough and turn out to be a delicious pizza. Save your time as well, just spend very less time to cut all the ingredients and kneading the dough. I used a whole pack of 150g mozzarella cheese. The base of the pizza is a normal pizza crust. Not the thin one, I was thinking to make 2 pizza instead of 1 pizza. But I feel lazy to wait and bake for another pizza due to my small small oven. But this is a very chewable pizza and definitely will fill out your hungry stomach!



Ingredients: ( serve 2 - 3 pax, use 37cm x 21cm pan or 12 inch pizza)

To make the pizza dough:

2 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 cup warm water
1 ½ tsp dry yeast
1 tsp castor sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp olive oil
  1. Let yeast & sugar dissolve in warm water. Set a side for 5 minutes until bubbles appear.
  2. Combine flour & salt in a big bowl, pour dissolve yeast mixture into flour. Knead well.
  3. Add olive oil & continue kneading for 20 minutes.
  4. Make dough into round shape, grease a bowl with oil and put in dough. Covered & rest for 1 hour or double in size.


To make pizza sauce:

1 can peeled tomato in tomato juice
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 onion (finely chopped)
a pinch of parsley
a pinch basil
2 tsp salt
3 tsp sugar
a pinch of black pepper
  1. Heat up pan with olive oil in medium heat. Sautee chopped onion until soft & add chopped garlic. Sautee until fragrant.
  2. Pour in a can of tomato, crush the whole tomato. Keep stirring.
  3. Add salt, sugar, pepper, parsley & basil. Keep stirring until sauce become thick.
  4. Set a side for later use.


For pizza toppings:

150g mozzarella cheese (sliced or shredded)
1 small onion
2 pcs pineapple
some chicken meat
olive oil
salt & black pepper
  1. Preheat you oven at 230℃.The pizza dough already proof & is double in size.
  2. Grease your pan. Pouch out air of the dough & lay flat on your pan. You can use your finger to press down the dough in your desire size.
  3. Spread your cooked tomato sauce onto flatten dough. Sprinkle salt & pepper.
  4. Generously spread shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Put all the toppings, tomato, ham, onion, chicken & pineapple onto pizza dough as photo shown.
  6. Sprinkle some salt & pepper on the toppings. More mozzarella cheese! Lastly, sprinkle some olive oil on the pizza before you put into oven. (No second proofing for the dough!!! I love that!!)
  7. bake your pizza for 25 minutes at 230℃. For the last 10 minutes, arrange your pan at the top of the rack for the final browning for pizza crust!
