cheese cracker 芝士梳打餅

I make this cheese cracker especially for my son. He is not the cheese lover and he need a lot of calcium at this time so I try to make something with cheese & hope he will like it. In fact, he like it!
I made 2 types of cheese cracker using the same ingredients, another just top with sugar. Two different colours? Yes, I adjust the oven temperature and result I have 2 colours of crackers.

ingredients:

1 cups or 140g all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
80g cold butter, cut to small cubes
50g cream cheese (can use other cheese like cheedar or parmesan)
1 1/2 tbsp cold water
  1. preheat oven at 180℃.
  2. sift your flour in a bowl.
  3. add in butter, salt and cream cheese, mix until combine.
  4. add water, mix to form a dough.
  5. cut a portion of dough and place in a plastic bag. Use rolling pin to roll to a thin layer, about 2mm thick.
  6. cut to your desire shapes, i use a fork to make the dots.
  7. line crackers in a non-stick parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. cool cracker before store in container.
