Nutrition soup, taste natural sweet from figs and dates. It helps to nourishes "yin" and moistens the lungs, strengthens the spleen and improves appetite. Very suitable for kids.
Ingredients: (2-3 pax)
10 Figs 無花果
200g Fresh or 5 pcs dried Chinese Yam淮山
3 Black Dates 南枣
30g Solomonseal Rhizome 玉竹
a handful Wolfberries 杞子
Whole Chicken bones and chicken feets 鸡骨肉和鸡爪
Pinch of salt
2 litre water
- cleans all ingredients and herbs.
- fill soup pot with water and add chicken bones and feets to boil. Let simmer for 1/2 hour at medium low heat.
- after 1 hour, add all herbs except wolfberries into the chicken soup. Let simmer for another 1 hour.
- at the last 10 minites, add in wolfberries and add salt to taste. (add wolfberries at last to prevent soup become sour)
- serve warm.
